SSC Complience Auditor
Our client is a US market leading global player, a name you will almost certainly know. This position is 100% based in Prague and is a maternity leave cover so a 1 to 2 year contract, little or no business travel is required.
- Cooperation with the internal and external auditors to ensure the smooth audit process in all audited areas including sales, billing, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements, etc.
- Planning, management and execution of own internal audits of controls and procedures under SOX compliance requirements and other audits towards enhancement of overall control business environment
- Decision making regarding the process changes with the purpose of maintaining the full compliance with SOX rules and identifying any potential “control gaps” requiring remediation
- Close cooperation with the VP Head of Finance SSC Europe on completion and management of different projects in various areas (e.g. physical security and business premise, ethics and staff awareness, monitoring of staff performance, European-wide activities towards consistency and effective shared services, cost cutting projects, business continuity planning, etc.)
- Cooperation with representatives of US corporate office and participation or execution of different business-enhancement projects
- Preparation of several regular operational, performance and other business-related analyses
- Documentation and update of the overall business / operational process descriptions and internal controls listings
- Drafting and regular update of the internal policies applicable not only for the Finance SSC but for the whole European or global business
- Update of organizational documents of the Finance SSC, as required
Requirements:
- EU Passport or valid working permission for the Czech Republic.
- Fluent English & Czech
- Degree educated -
- 4 years plus internal audit experience
- Highly organized with first-rate attention to detail
- Project Management experience
- Numerically accurate
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts through reasoned communication
